नयका पुलवा

अचानक एक तेज आवाज कानों में सुनाई पड़ी या ऐसा भ्रम हुआ लगा जैसे कोई जोरों से चिल्ला रहा हो 'राम....नाम सत्य है।' 'अरे नहीं भाई ये किसी बस या गाड़ी की आवाज है नहीं तो नौ बजे रात को कहीं मजिल जाता है'
यहां से शीतलपुर स्टेशन मुश्किल से एक  किलोमीटर होगा। दस मिनट लगते हैं पैदल जाने में।
बरसात के दिनों में एक दूसरा रास्ता भी है केशरपुर वाला 'नयका पुलवा' से। मगर उधर से जाने में एक से सवा घंटा लग जाता है।

यहां ऐसा नहीं है कि गांव के लोगों के की इच्छा नहीं है कि पुल बने। पुल बने किंतु पुल के बनने का श्रेय यादव बहुल इलाके के लोग चाहते हैं कि राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के विधायक जो अभी वर्तमान विधायक हैं उनको मिले।

मेरी एक संन्यासिनी है--माधुरी। उसकी मां भी संन्यासिनी है। उसकी मां ने मुझे कहा कि उसके तो केन्सर के आपरेशन में दोनों स्तन उसे गंवाने पड़े।

लेकिन डाक्टरों ने कहा, चिंता न करो, अब तुम्हें कोई नया विवाह तो करना भी नहीं है, उम्र भी तुम्हारी ज्यादा हो गई। और झूठे रबर के स्तन मिलते हैं, वे तुम अंदर पहन लो, बाहर से तो वैसे ही दिखाई पड़ेंगे।

 रबर के हों कि चमड़ी के हों, क्या फर्क पड़ता है? बाहर से तो वैसे ही दिखाई पड़ेंगे। सच तो यह है कि रबर के ज्यादा सुडौल होंगे।

तो वह रबर के स्तन पहनने लगी। मेक्सिको में रहती थी। कार से कहीं यात्रा पर जा रही थी। रास्ते में ट्रैफिक जाम हो गया तो रुकी। पुलिस का इंसपेक्टर पास आया।

खुद ही कार ड्राइव कर रही थी। वह एकटक उसके स्तन की तरफ देखता रह गया। उसे मजाक सूझा। बड़ी हिम्मतवर औरत है। उसने कहा, पसंद हैं?

एक क्षण को तो वह इंसपेक्टर डरा कि कोई झंझट खड़ी न हो।

मगर उसने कहा, नहीं, चिंता न करो, पसंद हैं?

उसने कहा कि सुंदर हैं। क्यों न पसंद होंगे? सुडौल हैं।

तो उसने कहा, यह लो, तुम्हीं ले लो। उसने दोनों स्तन निकाल कर दे दिए। अब जो उस पर गुजरी होगी बेचारे पर, जिंदगी भर न भूलेगा।

अब असली स्तन वाली स्त्री को भी देख कर एकटक अब नहीं देखेगा। अब कौन जाने असलियत क्या हो? रखे होगा वह रबर के स्तन अब, अपनी खोपड़ी से मारता होगा कि अच्छे बुद्धू बने।

मुझे उसकी घटना पसंद आई। मैंने कहा, तूने ठीक किया। तू तो और खरीद ले और बांटती चल। जो मिले उसको बांट ,देना।

 जितनों का छुटकारा हो जाए उतना अच्छा। मूढ़ हैं, बचकाने हैं--छुटकारा करो। जगह-जगह मिलेंगे इस तरह के लोग।
